“The Great Migration”
In Singapore, old and unsafe buildings are being demolished. This is making it harder for pests like cockroaches, rats, ants, and mosquitoes to find places to live. These pests are fighting each other for space. As humans develop new ways to kill pests, it’s becoming harder for them to survive in Singapore.
As people are sorting their garbage, cockroaches find it hard to find food at night. Ants are moving dead cockroaches as food. These pests have no place to live and are looking for places to settle. However, as Singapore getting cleaner, people becoming more civilized and public health are improving, their hopes were shattered.
With nowhere to go, these pests decide to leave Singapore on a dark and stormy night, floating away on a leaf. They are leaving because Singapore is getting cleaner!
